Most garden rooms aren't really rooms, they're sheds with windows. Ours are properly engineered warm rooms you'll use year-round: insulated, glazed, wired, plumbed where needed, and finished to the same standard as the main house.

Why a garden room

Add a room without losing the house.

For a lot of Bristol families, the garden is the cheapest piece of buildable square metre on the property. A well-built garden office adds workspace without losing a bedroom. A studio gives a kid space. A gym keeps the spare room a spare room.

Done to permitted development limits, most don't need planning. Done properly, they're warm in February and cool in July, with their own electrics and, where it makes sense, a WC or shower.

Most garden rooms fall under permitted development if they sit within size and height limits and are used as ancillary space (office, studio, gym). Sleeping accommodation, conservation areas and listed buildings need full planning. We handle the application as part of the design stage.
Yes. Every MB garden room is built to warm-room spec, insulated floor, walls and roof, double-glazed units, electric heating or air-conditioning where needed, and proper ventilation. They're useable year-round, not summerhouses.
Yes. We routinely install plumbing, drainage and a small WC or shower room, useful for garden offices that double as guest space, gyms or studios. We confirm drainage routes during the survey.
A standard MB garden room is six to ten weeks on site once foundations are signed off, including base, structure, insulation, services, finishes and external decoration. Larger or split-room layouts run a little longer.
Yes. Comprehensive public liability, contract works insurance on every job, and a 10-year workmanship guarantee on completion. Full certificates issued at handover. Read more about MB →
